All Can Pyramid Locations In Alan Wake Remastered
Can Pyramids are one of the stranger collectible activities in Alan Wake Remastered. Throughout the game, Alan can find stacks of cans carefully arranged into pyramids and immediately decide they no longer deserve to exist.
There are 12 Can Pyramids total across the campaign. You only need to destroy five for the Carny trophy, but tracking down all of them is a nice extra collectible challenge during exploration.
Most pyramids are hidden near side paths, fences, cliff edges, tables, railings, and abandoned structures.
Episode 1 Can Pyramid Locations
Episode 1: Nightmare contains two Can Pyramids.
- The first appears shortly after the combat tutorial where Alan receives the revolver. Look on the wooden fence near the ammo box after defeating the first Taken enemy.
- The second is found after moving the log lift to create a bridge inside the lumber yard. Cross the makeshift bridge and check the table overlooking the yard near the lawn chairs.
These are some of the easiest pyramids in the game to spot.
Episode 2 Can Pyramid Locations
Episode 2: Taken also contains two Can Pyramids.
- One appears near the forest section filled with bear traps. Head toward the cliffside overlook and check the barrel nearby.
- Another is located after escaping the campgrounds with the truck. Drive past the blocked logging road and head toward the safe haven near the trailer and portable toilet. The cans sit on a picnic table.
This episode rewards players who explore around driving routes instead of staying directly on the road.
Episode 3 Can Pyramid Locations
Episode 3: Ransom contains two Can Pyramids.
- After Agent Nightingale attacks Alan near the radio station, search the shack overlooking the cliff to find one pyramid.
- Later, after the cable car disaster and bird attacks, head toward the cable car platform and check the railing nearby for another pyramid.
Episode 3 gets chaotic fast, so these are easy to run past while focused on survival.
Episode 4 Can Pyramid Locations
Episode 4: The Truth hides two Can Pyramids.
- After escaping the hedge maze and destroying the possessed objects, continue forward and look on the wall to the right.
- Another pyramid appears in the junk-filled barn area after smashing through the doors with the Viking boat. Check the wooden cable spool near the crackling electrical wires.
This episode really leans into the weirdness of Bright Falls. Evil wheelbarrows and target practice cans somehow coexist perfectly.
Episode 5 Can Pyramid Locations
Episode 5: The Clicker contains two Can Pyramids.
- While moving through town with Sheriff Sarah Breaker, pass the portable toilets and parking gate area. The cans are sitting on top of a food truck nearby.
- The second pyramid is beside the power switch during the transformer yard sequence near Cynthia Weaver.
This is probably the hardest episode to casually search because combat pressure ramps up heavily.
Episode 6 Can Pyramid Locations
Episode 6: Departure contains the final two Can Pyramids.
- One sits on a wall inside the motel parking lot where Agent Nightingale stayed.
- The final pyramid is located in the scrapyard building where the hunting rifle appears. Head upstairs, deal with the incoming enemy, then step outside onto the railing to find the last stack.
Destroying the final pyramid officially proves Alan has become Bright Falls' greatest anti-can activist.
Carny Trophy Requirement
To unlock the Carny trophy, you only need to knock over five Can Pyramids, not all twelve.
You can destroy the cans by:
- Shooting them
- Using melee attacks
- Hitting nearby explosive objects
Most players unlock the trophy naturally during progression, but full collectible hunters will probably end up blasting every stack they see anyway.

Best Strategy
- Check fences, tables, railings, barrels, and rooftops carefully
- Explore side paths during quieter sections
- Use melee attacks to save ammo when possible
- Grab nearby pyramids during collectible cleanup runs
- Combine pyramid hunting with thermos and chest routes
Rewards
- Carny trophy
- Full Can Pyramid completion
- Extra collectible progress
Tips
You only need five pyramids for the trophy, but after spotting a few of them, it becomes impossible not to immediately stop everything and destroy every stack of cans you see. Alan clearly takes this very personally.

How To Restore The Power Plant Generator In Alan Wake Remastered
To restore power to a generator in Alan Wake Remastered, interact with the machine and press the action button when the rotating indicator needle enters the highlighted green zone. You must successfully hit the timing window three times in a row to fully restore power.
The timing gets faster after each successful crank, so stay focused and avoid pressing too early. Make sure the surrounding area is clear of Taken enemies first, because getting hit will interrupt the mini-game and force you to restart.
