Missable

Trophy: The Auror's Apprentice

Find the Map Chamber as a Hufflepuff.

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

This unlocks during the main quest Jackdaw’s Rest when you reach the Map Chamber as a Hufflepuff student. Just like the other house trophies, this is tied entirely to your house choice at the start of the game and cannot be changed mid-playthrough. The easiest way to handle this is to keep a save right before the Sorting Ceremony, then reload it and pick Hufflepuff to run back to this point. It is a short push through the early story, and you will knock this out quickly without committing to another full run.

Trophy: The Gryffindor in the Graveyard

Find the Map Chamber as a Gryffindor.

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

You will earn this during Jackdaw’s Rest after reaching the Map Chamber as a Gryffindor student. This is another house-specific trophy, so if you did not choose Gryffindor initially, you will need a separate run to grab it. The smart move is to reuse a pre-sorting save and select Gryffindor, then rush the main quests until this moment. Skip cutscenes and stay focused, and you will be back in the chamber faster than a Quidditch sprint.

Trophy: The Toast of the Town

Find the Map Chamber as a Slytherin.

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

This unlocks during the main quest Jackdaw’s Rest when you reach the Map Chamber as a Slytherin student. The catch is your house is locked for the entire playthrough, so this is one of the few truly missable trophies tied to your initial choice. To get all four house trophies without replaying the full game, create a manual save right before the Sorting Ceremony, then reload it and pick a different house each time to speedrun back to this quest. It sounds like a lot, but with cutscene skipping and a bit of focus, each run is fairly quick and way better than doing four full playthroughs.

Trophy: The Wise Owl

Find the Map Chamber as a Ravenclaw.

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

This unlocks during Jackdaw’s Rest when you discover the Map Chamber as a Ravenclaw student. Like the others, this is missable if you do not pick the correct house, so plan to handle it alongside the other house trophies using a pre-sorting save. Reload, choose Ravenclaw, and push through the early quests again. It is repetitive, but each run gets faster, and you will clean up all four house trophies with minimal effort.

Collectible

Trophy: Collector's Edition

Complete all collections.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This missable silver trophy is earned by completing all collections in the game. There are 619 collectible items in total, but only 603 are required to unlock the trophy, as the remaining items are tied to PS-exclusive content and Deluxe Edition pre-orders. Many collectibles are naturally obtained through story and side quests, while others require exploration, completing challenges, purchasing items from vendors, or opening special small chests. Be aware that some items, like Traits or Conjurations, have had buggy behavior in previous patches. To avoid issues, check your collection count after finding each item and reload your auto-save if needed. Using interactive maps, spreadsheets, or video guides will make tracking everything much easier. Pay special attention to Butterflies in the Highlands, as they lead to 15 collection chests and cannot be tracked in-game; use Revelio while flying to locate them. Collections include tools, which can be crafted at potion stations or potting tables and purchased in Hogsmeade; enemies found throughout the Highlands in camps and lairs, partially unlocked through quests; appearances, which are gear cosmetics earned from quests, challenges, and exploration; Revelio Pages discovered using Revelio across all maps, easier to locate at night with Lumos; magical beasts rescued from Beast Dens and nurtured in the Room of Requirement; traits, which are gear attributes from challenges and chests; wand handles, which are cosmetic wand alterations found in chests and from sidequests; conjurations, which are Room of Requirement decorations acquired from vendors, chests, and near Butterflies; ingredients, including plants, forageables, and enemy drops that can be grown or purchased; and brooms, which are cosmetic broom alterations earned from challenges or vendors, requiring a total of 18,500G to purchase all vendor-related brooms. Following the guides, spreadsheets, and video walkthroughs will save time and help ensure you don’t miss any items. Once all 603 required collectibles are obtained, the trophy will unlock.

Trophy: Demiguise Dread

Find all Demiguise statues.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This missable bronze trophy is earned by finding all 33 Demiguise Statues, small magical statues that glow blue at night. You can start collecting them during the quest The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament, where Gladwin Moon tasks you with retrieving a few statues to help him. Three are picked up automatically during this quest, including one in the Prefects’ Bathroom and another in the Hospital Wing, where you need to use Disillusionment to sneak past prefects and teachers. During this quest, you will also learn the Alohomora spell, which is required to access most of the remaining statues. After returning the initial statues, the next quest, The Man Behind the Moons, asks you to find and return the remaining statues across Hogwarts and the surrounding regions. Returning nine statues unlocks Alohomora II, and an additional thirteen unlocks Alohomora III, giving you access to every locked door. You can skip the mini-game by switching to Story difficulty. The mini-game involves moving a green spark with the left stick until a green light appears, then doing the same with a red spark on the right stick and holding both in place until the door opens.

Trophy: Floo Around the World

Unlock all Floo Flames.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This bronze trophy unlocks once you’ve discovered all 83 Floo Flames on the map. Floo Flames act as fast-travel points and are marked by stone busts of Ignatia Wildsmith. When discovered, their flames turn green. Most Floo Flames are found naturally as you progress through story missions and sidequests, so a large portion of the work is done automatically. For the remaining ones, open your map with the Touch Pad and navigate between the World Map, Hogwarts Map, and Hogsmeade Map. Any greyed-out Floo Flame icons can be selected with Cross to create a waypoint. Follow the purple dots on the minimap to reach each location and unlock it. Repeat this process until all 83 have been activated.

Trophy: Followed the Butterflies

Follow butterflies to a treasure.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

You will unlock this during the side quest Follow the Butterflies after tracking a swarm in the Forbidden Forest to a hidden treasure. You can pick up this quest from Clementine Willardsey in The Three Broomsticks, then simply follow the butterflies as they move along a set path until they lead you to a chest. Open it and the trophy will pop. It is a very relaxed quest with no combat, so just enjoy the short walk and let the butterflies do all the work for you.

Trophy: Going Through the Potions

Brew every type of potion.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This silver trophy is earned by brewing all six combat potions in the game yourself. You cannot count pre-made potions bought from J. Pippins or potions conjured randomly at a Hopping Table; they must be crafted at a potion table using the correct ingredients. The six potions required for the trophy are Edurus, Wiggenweld, Focus, Thunderbrew, Invisibility, and Maxima. Edurus protects you by reflecting damage and requires Ashwinder Eggs and Mongrel Fur. Wiggenweld heals and needs Horklump and Dittany Leaves; the story-brewed version doesn’t count, so you must brew it again. Focus reduces spell cooldowns and uses LaceWings Flies, FluxWeed Stem, and Dugbog Tongue. Thunderbrew stuns enemies with a thunderstorm and requires Leech Juice, ShrivelFig Fruit, and Stench of the Dead. Invisibility makes you undetectable for four seconds and uses Leaping Toadstool Caps, KnotGrass Sprig, and Troll Bogeys. Maxima increases spell damage and needs Leech Juice and Spider Fang. Once you have the recipes and ingredients, use a potion table to brew them. You can use the classroom table or one you’ve conjured in the Room of Requirement. Small tables cost 2 Moonstones, medium tables cost 10 Moonstones and require a recipe purchase, and T-shaped tables cost 20 Moonstones and require a more advanced recipe. After brewing each combat potion at a table, the trophy will unlock.

Trophy: Merlin's Beard!

Complete all Merlin Trials.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This silver trophy is earned by completing all 95 Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy. These are short puzzles scattered across the map, triggered by placing Mallowsweet onto a circular stone symbol. The Trials are unlocked through the story quest “Trials of Merlin” in Lower Hogsfield, where you first help Nora Treadwell fend off dark wizards. After speaking to her, you collect Mallowsweet from a trunk and use it to activate the circular symbol. Most trials require casting Incendio or Confringo on nearby stone pillars before the flames go out. There are nine main types of Merlin Trials. Lighting Braziers requires igniting three braziers within a short time, ideally from a spot where at least two are in range. Parkour involves jumping across a line or circle of pillars without touching the ground, sometimes clearing stone cairns first. Boulder Into Hole tasks you with moving a boulder into a designated hole using Depulso, Wingardium Leviosa, or Arresto Momentum to control its movement. Smashing Balls has you destroy stone statues spread around the area, sometimes needing your broom to locate them all. Balls in Holes asks you to move stone balls into raised platforms using Wingardium Leviosa. Butterflies requires guiding clouds of green butterflies to pillars with symbols using Lumos. Matching Symbols involves flipping cubes with Flipendo so the top symbol aligns perfectly with the one beneath, including correct orientation. Smashing Pillars tasks you with destroying 3 to 6 pillars marked in green using Confringo. Repairing Pillars is similar, but you must cast Reparo to restore broken pillars after activating them with Mallowsweet. To complete the trophy efficiently, keep your Mallowsweet supply stocked and use Revelio to spot interactive elements. If clues aren’t immediately visible, mounting your broom can provide a better view. Completing all 95 trials rewards you with extra inventory space in the Challenges tab and triggers the Merlin’s Beard! trophy.

Trophy: Put Down Roots

Grow every type of plant.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This silver trophy is earned by growing all eight plant types in the game. You can start early, but it’s easier to work on it once you have a larger Room of Requirement and enough galleons to invest in potting tables and seeds. Use the Room of Requirement to keep your equipment together and conjure a potting table for planting. Medium and large pots are recommended since small plants can grow in them as well, and the larger pots reduce waiting times. Fertiliser can be purchased or crafted with the Dung Composter to increase yield, though it’s optional. Seeds are bought from The Magic Neep and Dogweed and Deathcap. Dittany is free from the Herbology Class, Mallowsweet costs 200G, Mandrake 800G, Knotgrass 350G, Chinese Chomping Cabbage 800G, Shrivelfig 450G, Fluxweed 350G, and Venomous Tentacula 1050G. All plants have set growth times ranging from 10 to 15 minutes, and pot sizes vary from medium to large depending on the plant. Once all eight plants have been grown at least once, the trophy will unlock.

Trophy: The Intrepid Explorer

Discover all cairn dungeons.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This bronze trophy is unlocked by discovering all five Cairn Dungeons in Hogwarts Legacy. You do not need to complete the dungeons or trigger any special events inside; simply entering each cave counts toward the trophy. The five dungeons are tied to main story quests or character relationship quests and are only accessible during or after those quests. The Collector's Cave is part of "The Helm of Urtkot" and is located in the North Hogwarts Region, just west of Hogsmeade. The Tomb of Treachery appears in "Cursed Tomb Treasure," behind a waterfall west of the Poidsear Castle Floo Station in the Coastal Cavern area. The Dale Family Tomb is east of Brocburrow in Hogwarts Valley, connected to the side quest "Beeting a Curse." The Feldcroft Catacomb in Feldcroft is entered during Sebastian Sallow’s relationship quest "In the Shadow of Time" and cannot be accessed beforehand. Moonstone Garden, also in Feldcroft, is the cave you visit at the conclusion of Poppy Sweeting’s relationship line in "The Centaur and the Stone" quest, and it likewise cannot be accessed beforehand. Entering all five of these dungeons will award The Intrepid Explorer trophy.

Trophy: The Nature of the Beast

Breed every type of beast.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This silver trophy is earned by breeding every type of beast in the game. You first need to start capturing beasts during the main quest "The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom," where Deek gives you a Nab-Sac to capture them. Using spells like Glacius can make capturing easier. To breed beasts, you must unlock the Breeding Pen through Deek's sidequest "Foal of the Dead," which requires rescuing a male and female Thestral and purchasing the Breeding Pen from Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade. Conjure the pen in the Room of Requirement’s Vivarium for 15 Moonstones, and you can breed the captured Thestrals. Each breeding cycle takes 30 minutes for a new foal to appear. For the remaining 11 beast types, you need to capture at least one of each gender to breed them. Beast locations are marked on the map with a small animal footprint. The Phoenix cannot be bred as there is only one, tied to the sidequest "Phoenix Rising" and the silver trophy "Rising From the Ashes." All other beasts, including Diricawl, Fwooper, Giant Purple Toad, Graphorn, Hippogriff, Jobberknoll, Kneazle, Mooncalf, Niffler, Puffskein, Thestral, and Unicorn, must be captured and bred to earn the trophy.

Trophy: The Spell Master

Learn all spells.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This silver trophy is earned by learning all the spells required for progression in Hogwarts Legacy. While there are 32 spells available during the fifth-year curriculum, only 26 count toward the trophy. Beast-grooming spells and the Unforgivable Curses do not contribute to the requirement. All necessary spells are unlocked through Main Quests and Professor Assignments, with some tied to story progression. To learn a new spell, you complete a short minigame tracing the symbol shown on screen while avoiding red smoke. Once learned, the spell can be assigned to one of your four Spell Set slots, with additional Spell Sets unlockable via Talent Points. It is recommended to prepare separate sets for combat, puzzles, stealth, and the Room of Requirement or beast interaction. The spells needed include Basic Cast, Revelio, Ancient Magic Throw, Ancient Magic, Petrificus Totalus, Alohomora, Levioso, Glacius, Arresto Momentum, Transformation, Accio, Depulso, Descendo, Flipendo, Incendio, Expelliarmus, Confringo, Diffindo, Bombarda, Lumos, Reparo, Disillusionment, Wingardium Leviosa, Evanesco, Conjuring Spell, and Altering Spell. Once all of these are learned, the trophy will unlock. Optional spells like the Unforgivable Curses and beast-grooming tools are not required for this achievement.

Grind

Trophy: A Forte for Achievement

Reach Level 40.

Type: Gold

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

This gold trophy is awarded for reaching Level 40 in Hogwarts Legacy. It is generally earned during the post-game, as most players will finish the main story around Level 30 or lower. Progress slows in the final few levels, especially if many sidequests and challenges have already been completed. You do not need to farm XP excessively, but certain activities remain effective for leveling up. Be cautious with challenge completion: once all challenges in a category, like Combat Challenges or Room of Requirement beast-related Challenges, are finished, you will stop earning XP from those sources. To maximize XP without farming, avoid completing the final sub-category of Duelling Feats while finishing other Combat Challenge sub-categories. Battle Arenas and the remaining Duelling Feats provide the most efficient XP opportunities if you want to speed up leveling. A rare bug has been reported where progress may freeze at Level 39; in this case, contacting the developers is necessary.

Trophy: Savvy Spender

Spend all Talent Points.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

This silver trophy is awarded for spending all 36 Talent Points across any combination of the available talent branches. Points are distributed among combat spells, curses, core skills, stealth abilities, and Room of Requirement talents. You earn points gradually as you level up, so it may take some time to unlock all options. The game does not allow respecs, so you’ll want to plan which talents best match your preferred playstyle before committing all points. Once all points are spent, the trophy unlocks automatically.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/aP3JZGGujLw

Trophy: The Good Samaritan

Complete all side quests.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

You will unlock this after completing all 57 side quests in the game, and this is where a good chunk of your platinum time goes. Not all quests are available right away, so expect to naturally pick them up as you progress through the story and explore different regions. Make sure you clear out quest markers whenever you see them, especially in Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and smaller hamlets, so you do not end up doing a massive cleanup at the end. If anything bugs out, reloading an earlier save usually fixes it, but overall this is just a steady grind, so chip away at it as you play and it will feel much less overwhelming.

Combat

Trophy: Finishing Touches

Use Ancient Magic on every enemy type.

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

This silver trophy is earned by using Ancient Magic on every required enemy type in Hogwarts Legacy. Although there are 69 enemy types in the game, only 34 count toward the trophy. All of these needed enemies are unmissable and can be found in the open world at any time, so none of them are tied to story misses or infrequent spawns. Dugbogs appear in North Ford Bog, South Sea Bog, and small swamp areas. Ashwinders can be found near bandit camps and Battle Arenas. Duellists, Scouts, Assassins, Rangers, Soldiers, and Executioners appear throughout combat encounters in the open world, often in organized enemy groups. Poachers, including Duellists, Trackers, Animagi, Rangers, Stalkers, and Executioners, are encountered similarly near bandit camps and arenas. Loyalists, such as Assassins, Commanders, Sentinels, Warriors, Rangers, and Inferi, are mainly in mining areas like Coastal Cavern. Magical arachnids, including Scurriours, Ambushers, Shooters, Matriarchs, Thornback variants, and the Acromantula, are found in spider nests. Trolls, whether Forest, Mountain, or River, roam various areas and can be fought openly. Mongrels and Dark Mongrels can be found mostly in the Forbidden Forest and other open areas. To earn the trophy, you must cast Ancient Magic at least once on each of these 34 required enemies. Patience and awareness of enemy patterns will make this easier, as many enemies are vulnerable to specific spells or can be manipulated to expose themselves for Ancient Magic attack

Trophy: Raising Expectations

Reach a combo of 100.

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

This bronze trophy is earned by reaching a combo of 100 or higher in a single fight. Combos count how many spells you land without taking damage for about seven seconds, and you can repeat the same spell without penalty, including Basic Casts. To get the trophy, look for areas with multiple high-health enemies that don’t use shields. Avoid killing them too quickly so you can reach 100 hits. Using Basic Casts while dodging with Circle or blocking with Triangle Protego helps maintain the combo without taking damage. Good places to attempt this include Battle Arenas, caverns with Acromantulas during the "Jackdaw’s Rest" quest, or near graves and caves where Inferi appear, as they only take damage when set on fire.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/l_jHVzRErfY

Trophy: Rise to the Challenges

Defeat enemies in all battle arenas.

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

This silver trophy is earned by defeating all enemies in the two base-game Battle Arenas. Each arena has five rounds with two to three enemy types, including Ashwinders, Inferi, Spiders, Trolls, Goblins, Mongrels, and Dugbogs depending on the location. The third arena is a pre-order DLC and does not count for the trophy. Battle Arenas are identified by a Merlin statue surrounded by twenty jars. To start an arena, break all the jars and then interact with the statue. If you have trouble locating the jars, press Left to cast Revelio and highlight them. The East North Ford Bog arena in the northeast corner, east of Thestral Den, is the easier one, featuring Ashwinders, Inferi, and Spiders. The Irondale arena, southwest of Irondale on the coast, is harder and includes Trolls, Goblins, Mongrels, and Dugbogs. Some players have reported the trophy not unlocking after completing the two arenas. If this happens, quit to the Main Menu and replay them. If it still does not trigger, retrying the arenas is currently the only workaround. There are no rewards beyond the XP gained from defeating the enemies.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/84E24K_8ZRg

Trophy: The Ends Petrify the Means

Defeat fifty enemies using Petrificus Totalus.

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

This silver trophy is earned by defeating a total of fifty enemies using Petrificus Totalus. The spell is learned during the "Charles Rookwood's Trial" main quest and can only be used when approaching enemies in stealth. You will see a prompt to press Square to automatically cast it. Hitting the same enemy multiple times does not count, so you need fifty different targets. If you still need the trophy after completing the main story, bandit camps around the map provide a reliable source of enemies. Petrificus Totalus can be upgraded with Talent Points under the Stealth category to increase its range, allowing you to hit multiple enemies at once. This upgrade, Petrificus Totalus Mastery, becomes available at Level 22. Alternatively, if you have learned Imperio during Bronze A Sallow Grave, you can use Petrificus Totalus immediately after. The same approach can be used in combination with Glacius and Arresto Momentum to efficiently take out groups of enemies.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/RYmwNgXL_UQ

Trophy: The Root of the Problem

Stun 10 different enemies using a Mandrake.

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

This bronze trophy is earned by stunning 10 different enemies using a Mandrake. The Mandrake’s younger form doesn’t kill but temporarily incapacitates foes, leaving them clutching their ears and vulnerable to attacks. Any enemy type counts toward the total, and you only need to affect 10 individual enemies. Mandrakes can be grown from seeds or purchased from Dogweed and Deathcap in Hogsmeade for 500G each. Growing your own ensures you have multiple plants on hand in case the trophy doesn’t register immediately. The easiest way to hit multiple enemies at once is to find large groups, such as during the quest "The Plight of the House-Elf," where the Acromantula spawns smaller spiders around it, or in a Battle Arena. To use the Mandrake, hold L1 to open the Tool Wheel, select the Mandrake with the right stick, release L1 to equip it, then press L1 again in the middle of the group to stun enemies. The trophy should unlock as soon as 10 different enemies are affected.

Misc

Trophy: A Keen Sense of Spell

Invoke Ancient Magic for the first time.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

You will unlock this shortly into the story the first time you use Ancient Magic in normal gameplay. Even though you technically use it earlier during the troll fight, the trophy only triggers when you activate it outside of a scripted moment, which happens during Secrets of the Restricted Section. Once your Ancient Magic meter fills, you will see the L1 and R1 prompt appear above an enemy, and using it will instantly unlock the trophy. This attack hits hard and looks even better, so get used to using it often because it becomes one of your strongest tools in combat.

Trophy: A Sallow Grave

Complete Sebastian Sallow's relationship line.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This bronze side quest trophy is earned by completing Sebastian Sallow’s entire relationship line. Sebastian is a Slytherin student first met during your Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons. His story unfolds over thirteen quests that are intertwined with the main storyline, and the trophy unlocks once all of them are completed. In the Shadow of the Undercroft begins shortly after Flying Class, when Seb introduces you to a hidden hangout called The Undercroft and teaches you the fiery Confringo spell. In the Shadow of the Estate follows, triggered during the main story, sending you to a ruined house where a secret passage leads back to The Undercroft. In the Shadow of the Bloodline is a brief conversation in the Great Hall, while In the Shadow of the Study has you, Seb, and Ominis solve a symbol puzzle to unlock Slytherin’s Scriptorium, requiring the optional use of Crucio to enter and retrieve Slytherin’s Spellbook. In the Shadow of Discovery occurs after the third Keeper trial, mostly consisting of an argument in The Undercroft. In the Shadow of the Mine starts after learning Transformation and sends you into Overlook Mine, combining stealth, combat, and a puzzle involving Confringo to open a door leading to a Triptych canvas piece. In the Shadow of Time runs concurrently, having you search the Feldcroft Catacomb for a relic to save Seb’s sister, using bone puzzles with Accio and learning Imperio to progress through a tense fight. In the Shadow of Distance is a short conversation about contacting Anne. In the Shadow of the Mountain requires Bombarda and Level 24, sending you to the southernmost map region to search for another canvas piece alongside Seb. In the Shadow of Hope unfolds simultaneously, covering Seb’s plan to take his sister to the Feldcroft Catacomb. In the Shadow of the Relic returns you to the catacomb with Ominis to face Inferi and ultimately fight Solomon, using Incendio, Confringo, and Transformation to overcome his shields and attacks. In the Shadow of Fate is a meeting in The Undercroft to review recent events. Finally, In the Shadow of Friendship concludes the storyline after earning Silver The Hero of Hogwarts with a final conversation about forgiveness. The trophy will unlock after completing this last interaction.

Trophy: A Talent for Spending

Spend 5 Talent Points.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This bronze trophy is unlocked by spending 5 Talent Points, which you’ll encounter during the story quest "Jackdaw's Rest." Talent Points are awarded as you level up, starting at Level 5 and continuing through Level 40, with a maximum of 36 points in total. You can spend points in five categories: Spells, Dark Arts, Core, Stealth, and Room of Requirement. Each branch contains abilities that enhance combat, stealth, or utility, such as Levioso Mastery for pulling nearby enemies, Incendio Mastery for fiery area attacks, or Wiggenweld Potency to improve healing effects. Points are spent when unlocking new talents within these branches, and the trophy will appear once you use your first five points.

Trophy: Beast Friends

Complete Poppy Sweeting's relationship line.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This bronze side quest trophy is earned by completing Poppy Sweeting’s full relationship line. Poppy is a Hufflepuff student first met during Beasts Class, where she teaches you how to brush and feed magical creatures. After class, she invites you to accompany her to the forest to meet Highwing, a Hippogriff. You gain her trust by feeding and brushing Highwing. You meet her again during the main quest Fire and Vice after completing the second trial, helping her rescue a dragon at Horntail Hall, which unlocks the bronze The Defender of Dragons trophy. The first side quest in her line, A Dragon Debrief, begins at The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade, where she explains that dragons in Horntail Hall may have been collared and possibly connected to Rookwood's Poachers and Ranrok's Loyalists. This quest has been known to be buggy if Professor Weasley’s Assignment hasn’t been completed first. Poached Egg follows, with Poppy explaining that the dragon you freed unknowingly left behind her egg, which you must return. The Poachers’ House Call sends you to her near Hogwarts to investigate how poachers targeted her gran’s house for rare creature research. You and Poppy must retrieve the rare Snidgets, with assistance from Centaurs. In Surprise Meeting, Poppy outlines a plan to rescue the Snidgets in the Forbidden Forest with the help of Dorran, a Centaur. The Centaur and the Stone has you recover the Scholars’ Moonstone from a cave near Irondale and place it in a henge, prompting Mooncalves to leave a symbol. It’s in the Stars has you and Dorran interpret the symbol to locate the Snidgets. A Bird in the Hand requires you to solve a puzzle to open a secret door, confront the Poachers, and secure the Snidgets under the Centaurs’ care. Finally, Poppy Blooms concludes the storyline in the Great Hall, where you check in with Poppy. The trophy unlocks once you finish this final interaction.

Trophy: Challenge Accepted

Complete all tiers of a challenge.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

You will unlock this by completing the final tier of any challenge category, and this will almost certainly happen naturally as you play. Challenges are tied to combat, exploration, quests, and the Room of Requirement, and you will constantly make progress just by engaging with the game normally. The easiest way to guarantee this early is by focusing on something simple like defeating enemies or completing quests, since those rack up quickly without any extra effort. By the time you finish the story, you will likely have several of these done, so this is more of a passive trophy than something you need to chase.

Trophy: Flight the Good Flight

Beat Imelda's time in all broom races.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This silver side quest trophy is earned by beating Imelda Reyes’ times in all broom races. Imelda is a competitive Slytherin who challenges you to prove your flying skills. Although you may meet her earlier if you’re in the same house, the races cannot be attempted until you have your own broom. After the first flying lesson, it is suggested you buy one, which triggers the quest "Flight Test". Head to Spintwitches Sporting Needs in Hogsmeade to purchase a broom for 600G. All brooms perform equally, so pick whichever you like. The shopkeeper, Albie Weekes, will then ask you to participate in Imelda’s three time trials to provide feedback on the brooms. To beat her records, focus on the main rings in each course. Missing a ring incurs a time penalty, and while smaller yellow rings provide speed boosts, they are optional. Some drifting is normal and will be mentioned by Mr. Weekes after the trial. Trial 1, "Time Trials", starts at the Quidditch Pitch where you must fly through 22 rings in under 2:20:53. After completing this trial, return to Mr. Weekes to wait for the next broom upgrade. Trial 2, "Sweeping the Competition", is triggered via Owl Post after completing Percival Rackham's Trial. Purchase the broom upgrade for 1000G and fly through 20 rings in Irondale within 2:26:22. Return to Mr. Weekes again for feedback. Trial 3, "The Sky Is the Limit", becomes available after the main story quest "It's All Gobbledegook". Buy the final upgrade for 4000G and race along Clagmar Coast, flying through 29 rings in under 2:42:42. You may unlock Bronze Coasting Along on the way if you haven’t already. Trophy: Spilled Milk

Use Flipendo ten times on cows.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This bronze trophy is earned by using Flipendo ten times to knock over cows, whether it’s ten different cows or the same unlucky one repeatedly. You won’t get anything but the trophy, though Poppy might send a howler if she’s watching. To learn Flipendo, you need to complete "Professor Garlick's Assignment 2," which occurs around the midpoint of the story. This assignment involves growing and harvesting Fluxweed and acquiring all three combat plants—Chinese Chomping Cabbage, Venomous Tentacula, and Mandrake—and using them simultaneously. Fluxweed Stem can be purchased from vendors like The Magic Neep, but since you need to grow it, buy the Fluxweed Stem Seeds for 350G and a Large Pot Spellcraft for 1000G from Tomes and Scrolls. Conjure a Potting Table with a Large Pot in the Room of Requirement, and the plant will take 15 minutes to grow. For the combat plants, purchase or grow them: Chinese Chomping Cabbage seeds cost 600G, Venomous Tentacula seeds 1050G, and Mandrake seeds 800G. In combat, open your Tool Wheel with L1, select each plant in turn, and finish with the Mandrake to complete the assignment and unlock Flipendo for this trophy.

Trophy: The Avenging Gazelle

Complete Natsai Onai's relationship line.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This bronze side quest trophy is earned by completing Natsai Onai’s full relationship line. Natsai, or Natty, is a transfer student from the African Wizarding school, Uagadou. You first meet her during the story quest Charms Class, where the professor sets up a game called Summoner’s Court pairing you with her. Afterward, you spend time with her as she prepares a special assignment. The first quest, The Girl from Uagadou, has you meet her in Lower Hogsfield at a new Floo Flame. She is concerned about threats from Ranrock and Rookwood and wants to strategize with you. In The Lost Child, she learns of a wizard being harassed by Theophilus Harlow. You investigate with her, track the missing boy Archie Bickle to an encampment, and rescue him to return to his mother. Natty agrees to help because taking out Harlow’s threats will weaken his organization. The quest Mum’s the Word reveals that Natty’s mother, Professor Onai, may have discovered their activities. Natty explains she is an Animagus—a gazelle—and has been using this ability to investigate Harlow and Rookwood. Note that this quest can be buggy, sometimes removing itself from the quest log. To avoid this, make sure you’ve completed Professor Weasley’s Assignment before starting it. In A Basis for Blackmail, Natty sends an Owl Post and meets you outside Hogsmeade to gather intel on Harlow. Speaking with Mr. Bickle’s associates—Daisy Rabe, Otto Dibble, and Agabus Philbert—provides details on Harlow’s intimidation. When she goes missing, you use Revelio to track her to a secret hideout beneath the Hog’s Head Inn. Optional objectives include finding Agabus Philbert’s book of poems in a chest to the right of the arena and Otto Dibble’s love letter on a table to the left. Grief and Vengeance continues in the Great Hall, where Natty opens up about losing her father, also an Animagus, and her desire for justice against Harlow. In Finding Focus, she shares her determination to prevent others from suffering the same fate as her father. Harlow’s Last Stand has you meet her near Manor Cape and confront his ambush with her. She is injured during the fight, and you are automatically teleported to the Hospital Wing. Acting on Instinct concludes the story, where you visit Natty in the hospital and thank her for protecting you. The trophy unlocks after this final interaction.

Trophy: Third Time's a Charm

Upgrade a piece of gear 3 times.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This silver trophy unlocks when you upgrade any piece of gear three times. Gear upgrades become available after completing the main quest "The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom," which introduces magical creatures whose materials are used for crafting. Gear that boosts offense can gain defense through upgrades, and gear that boosts defense can gain offensive bonuses. Each upgrade requires materials from captured beasts. The first upgrade uses common materials like Puffskein or Mooncalf fur. The second upgrade adds mid-rarity items such as Fwooper feathers or Niffler fur. The final, third upgrade requires five different materials including rare ones: Unicorn Hair, Graphorn Horns, and a Phoenix Feather. The Unicorn can be found in the Forbidden Forest near the Upper Hogsfield Floo Station, the Graphorn is captured during the fourth trial of "San Bakar's Trial" near the southeast of Clagmar Coast, and the Phoenix is obtained in the "Phoenix Rising" side quest from Deek.

Trophy: Coasting Along

Visit Poidsear Coast.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

You will unlock this automatically when you first arrive at Poidsear Coast in the southeastern part of the map. The only thing to know is that you cannot just fly straight there, since the cliffs block access, so you will need to go through the Coastal Cavern on foot after reaching that area. Clear out the enemies inside, follow the path through, and once you emerge on the other side, the trophy will pop. You will naturally come through here during the story, so no need to go out of your way unless you are exploring early.

Trophy: First Class Student

Attend your first class.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

You will earn this early in the story after attending your first class at Hogwarts. After your first night, you can choose between Charms with Professor Ronen to learn Accio or Defense Against the Dark Arts with Professor Hecat to learn Levioso, and the trophy unlocks at the end of whichever class you pick. The choice does not matter, so go with whichever spell you want first, and enjoy the moment because this is where the game really starts to open up.

Trophy: Grappling with a Graphorn

Subdue the Lord of the Shore.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

You will unlock this during San Bakar’s Trial after defeating and taming the Lord of the Shore. This is a more aggressive boss fight than earlier trials, and the key is to focus entirely on damage spells since control spells will not affect the Graphorn. Dodge its heavy charges and slam attacks, keep your distance when needed, and stay consistent with your damage until it enters its second phase. Once defeated, choose either option to tame it and the trophy will unlock, and yes, riding this thing afterward feels as powerful as it looks.

Trophy: Rising From the Ashes

Rescue the phoenix.

Type: Silver

Category: Story

Unlock Details

You will earn this after completing the side quest Phoenix Rising, which is the final part of Deek’s questline in the Room of Requirement. The quest takes you to a mountain cave north of Poidsear Coast, where you will follow a phoenix through a linear path while dealing with poachers along the way. Once you reach the top, simply use the Nab-Sack to rescue the phoenix and bring it back to your room. This is a straightforward quest, but it feels like a nice payoff, and yes, having your own phoenix is as cool as it sounds.

Trophy: That's a Keeper

Meet Charles Rookwood in the Map Chamber.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

You will unlock this during Charles Rookwood’s Trial after completing the first Keeper trial and speaking with Charles Rookwood in the Map Chamber. This is your first major dungeon-style challenge, and it introduces the Pensieve Guardian boss, which revolves around matching spell colors to break its orbs before dealing real damage. Focus on dodging the stomp attacks and reacting quickly to the orb colors, and the fight becomes much more manageable once you understand the pattern. Finish the trial, view the memory, and the trophy will pop once you speak with Rookwood.

Trophy: The Defender of Dragons

Save a dragon.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

You will unlock this during the main quest Fire and Vice after helping Poppy free a captured dragon. The quest takes you into Horntail Hall, where poachers are running a brutal fighting ring, and while you can approach parts of it stealthily, things will eventually turn into a full fight. After clearing out the enemies, you will free the dragon by pulling the chain with Accio, triggering a pretty satisfying escape. It is a straightforward story trophy, but saving the dragon feels like a proper hero moment and easily one of the more memorable quests in the game.

Trophy: The Hallowed Hero

Wield a Deathly Hallow.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

You will unlock this during Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial after wielding one of the Deathly Hallows. This is one of the most unique story segments in the game, set in a black and white world where each section focuses on a different Hallow. The stealth section with the Invisibility Cloak is all about patience, the Elder Wand section lets you go all-out with powerful spells, and the final section is more straightforward. Just play through the trial and enjoy the change of pace, because the trophy unlocks at the end and it is easily one of the coolest moments in the story.

Trophy: The Hero of Hogwarts

Defeat Ranrok.

Type: Silver

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This unlocks after defeating Ranrok during the final story quest The Last Repository. This is a multi-phase boss fight that tests everything you have learned, and the key mechanic is breaking the colored orbs with matching spell types before you can deal damage. Make sure you have a mix of red, yellow, and purple spells equipped, keep your distance to avoid heavy damage, and save your Ancient Magic for big openings. Stock up on Wiggenweld Potions before the fight, stay patient through each phase, and once you finally bring him down, the trophy will unlock and you will have officially finished the story.

Trophy: The One Who Mastered Memories

View all Pensieve memories.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This unlocks naturally as you progress through the story after viewing all Pensieve memories. Every memory is tied directly to main quests, so there is nothing to track or worry about missing here. Just continue playing through the story, complete each trial, and watch the memories as they appear. It is one of those trophies you will earn without trying, so sit back and enjoy the lore because the game is doing all the work for you on this one.

Trophy: The Seeker of Knowledge

Win the House Cup.

Type: Gold

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This gold trophy is unlocked by completing the final main story quest, "The House Cup." After finishing the main story, speak with Professor Weasley to trigger the event. You must be at least Level 34 to start it, so if you’re below that, spend some time completing side activities to reach the required level. The House Cup plays out automatically, and you win regardless of your house. Once the cutscene and credits finish, or if you hold Triangle to skip them, the trophy will unlock, and you’ll return directly to the game without losing any progress.

Trophy: The Sort Who Makes an Entrance

Complete the introduction and finish the Sorting Ceremony.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

You will earn this automatically after completing the opening tutorial and reaching the Sorting Ceremony at Hogwarts. The only thing to know here is that your house choice is not locked, even if the Sorting Hat suggests one based on your answers. If you want a specific house for later trophies, just override the choice after the recommendation appears and pick the one you need. Either way, once you confirm your house, the trophy unlocks and your journey officially begins.

Trophy: Troll with the Punches

Survive the troll attack on Hogsmeade.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This unlocks during the main quest Welcome to Hogsmeade after defeating the Armoured Troll. This is your first real boss fight, and it is designed to teach you combat basics, so focus on dodging red attacks, using Protego on blockable ones, and throwing objects back with Ancient Magic when prompted. Damage is slow at first, but once you get into the rhythm, the fight becomes much easier, and landing the finishing move feels great even if the troll definitely overstayed its welcome.
