Roadmap

Step 1 – Welcome to New York City

Your adventure begins with Peter Parker already experienced as Spider-Man, but there is still plenty to learn. The early missions focus on teaching you the basics of combat, web swinging, gadgets, and how traversal works around the city. Spend some time getting comfortable moving through Manhattan because web swinging quickly becomes one of the most satisfying parts of the entire game.

As the map opens up you will start seeing activities scattered across the city such as backpacks, landmarks, crimes, and side missions. Do not worry about completing everything immediately. The game is designed so you can naturally clean up most of these activities as you progress.

Most players will struggle a little with the combat rhythm at first, especially when juggling multiple enemies. That is normal. Once dodging, gadget use, and finishers start clicking, Spider-Man begins to feel incredibly powerful.

Step 2 – Unlock Suits, Gadgets, and City Activities

After the introduction the game begins opening up much more of the city and its activities. This is where Spider-Man really starts to grow stronger as you unlock new suits, gadgets, and skill upgrades that expand your combat options.

Spend some time completing side activities like backpacks, research stations, and random crimes. These reward tokens that are used to unlock new suits and gadgets, which makes later missions easier and more fun. The city is packed with small objectives that slowly move you closer to the platinum without feeling like a grind.

This is also a good time to experiment with suit powers and combat upgrades to find a playstyle you enjoy. Some players prefer gadgets and crowd control, while others lean into fast melee combat. Either approach works, so try a few options and see what feels right.

Step 3 – Major Story Progress and Tougher Enemies

As the story progresses the missions become larger and enemies start showing up in bigger groups with new attack patterns. Combat encounters become more intense and you will need to rely more on gadgets, air combat, and perfect dodges to stay in control of the fight.

Take time between story missions to continue clearing city districts and completing side activities. Doing this helps you unlock more upgrades while also reducing the amount of cleanup needed later.

Boss fights begin appearing more often during this stage. They may take a few attempts, but each one teaches you something about the game’s mechanics. Stay patient, keep moving, and remember that Spider-Man wins most fights by staying agile rather than trying to tank damage.

If a boss gives you trouble, you can always Ask Gami for quick tips and get right back into the action.

Step 4 – Finish City Districts and Optional Activities

By this point you will likely have most of the map unlocked and a strong set of suits, gadgets, and upgrades. This is a great time to start finishing the remaining activities in each district such as bases, research stations, and collectible objectives.

Completing districts rewards additional tokens and brings you closer to several trophies tied to city completion. The good news is that Spider-Man’s map is designed in a way that makes cleanup feel more like swinging around the city having fun rather than grinding.

If you missed a few collectibles or side objectives earlier, do not worry. Almost everything can be finished before the end of the game, so just keep exploring and clearing icons as you move around Manhattan.

Step 5 – Final Missions and Trophy Cleanup

As you approach the final stretch of the story the game begins wrapping up its larger mission arcs. This is the perfect time to check the map and make sure you have completed all district activities, collectibles, and optional objectives.

Most of the platinum requirements come naturally through exploration and finishing the city districts, so the final cleanup is usually quick. If you focused on side content along the way, you will already be very close to earning the platinum.

Once everything is complete, finish the remaining story missions and enjoy the ending of Spider-Man’s adventure. The journey through New York is a blast from start to finish, and the platinum is a satisfying reward for swinging through the city one last time.

And if anything is still confusing or missing, Ask Gami and get the answer without ever leaving your game.
