Where To Find Irina
Irina is located just south of the Bridge of Sacrifice in the Weeping Peninsula.
After crossing the bridge, follow the road forward and look to the left side near the stone wall. Speak with her several times to learn about the rebellion happening inside Castle Morne.
Eventually, she gives you a letter meant for her father, Edgar.
Be careful crossing the bridge itself because the ballista there absolutely does not believe in personal space.
Deliver Irina’s Letter To Edgar
Travel south through the Weeping Peninsula until reaching Castle Morne.
As you approach:
- Watch for the giant golem firing arrows outside
- Enter through the main gate
- Move through the courtyard carefully
- Avoid or defeat the Mad Pumpkin Head
Behind the courtyard, climb the small ladder leading toward the ramparts.
Continue across the upper walkways while fighting through hostile Misbegotten enemies until reaching the eastern tower.
At the top, speak with Edgar and deliver Irina’s Letter.
Edgar explains he cannot leave because he must protect the legendary Sword of Morne.
Which is basically FromSoftware language for “there’s a boss fight coming.”
Defeat Leonine Misbegotten
To progress the quest, head toward the southern beach area behind Castle Morne.
Before the boss:
- Activate the Beside the Rampart Gaol Site of Grace
- Prepare for a fast melee fight
The Leonine Misbegotten uses aggressive sword attacks and quick lunges that can overwhelm early-game players.
Dodging sideways and staying aggressive yourself works better than constantly backing away.
After defeating the boss, you receive the Grafted Blade Greatsword, which is the legendary Sword of Morne.
Return To Edgar
Go back to Edgar in the eastern tower of Castle Morne.
After speaking with him again, he thanks you for reclaiming the sword and says he is finally free from his duty.
He decides to return to Irina.
Unfortunately, this is still a FromSoftware questline, so optimism should probably stay very low.
Return To Irina
Travel back to Irina’s original location near the Bridge of Sacrifice.
You discover that Irina has been killed, with a Misbegotten weapon left beside her body.
Edgar mourns her death and swears revenge against the creatures responsible.
This concludes the main portion of the questline.
Edgar The Revenger
Later, after reaching Liurnia of the Lakes, head to the Revenger’s Shack on the western side of the region north of the minor Erdtree.
When you approach the shack, Edgar the Revenger invades.
He uses:
- A halberd
- Wide spinning attacks
- Aggressive melee pressure
Defeat him to receive:
- Banished Knight’s Halberd +8
- Raw Meat Dumplings
- Furlcalling Finger Remedy
- Shabriri Grape
The Shabriri Grape also connects to Hyetta’s questline.
Judging by the state of the shack and Edgar himself, grief absolutely destroyed what little sanity he had left.
Step-by-Step
- Meet Irina south of the Bridge of Sacrifice
- Accept Irina’s Letter
- Travel to Castle Morne
- Find Edgar in the eastern tower
- Deliver the letter
- Defeat the Leonine Misbegotten
- Obtain the Grafted Blade Greatsword
- Return to Edgar
- Return to Irina
- Reach Liurnia of the Lakes
- Visit the Revenger’s Shack
- Defeat Edgar the Revenger
Warnings
- The ballista on the Bridge of Sacrifice can easily kill low-level players.
- Leonine Misbegotten is extremely aggressive for an early-game boss.
- Missing dialogue with Edgar after defeating the boss can interrupt the quest progression.
- Edgar the Revenger has dangerous spinning halberd attacks with long reach.
Rewards
- Grafted Blade Greatsword
- Banished Knight’s Halberd +8
- Shabriri Grape
- Furlcalling Finger Remedy
- Raw Meat Dumplings
- Sacrificial Twig
Tips
- Activate the Beside the Rampart Gaol Site of Grace before fighting the boss to save yourself a painful run back.
- Summons help significantly against the Leonine Misbegotten because of how aggressive he is.
- The Grafted Blade Greatsword is one of the earliest legendary weapons you can obtain.
- Bring tissues if you get emotionally attached to NPCs in FromSoftware games. It rarely ends well.

All NPC Questlines In Elden Ring
Elden Ring contains nearly 30 major NPC questlines, many of which unlock alternate endings, hidden regions, legendary rewards, Spirit Ashes, and important lore revelations.
Because the game has no quest tracker, several NPC storylines can permanently fail if you progress too far. The biggest point of no return happens after defeating the Fire Giant and activating the Forge of the Giants.

How To Defeat Margit The Fell Omen In Elden Ring
To defeat Margit The Fell Omen in Elden Ring, you should ideally be around level 25 with a weapon upgraded to at least +3. Prioritize leveling Vigor, use Spirit Ashes like the Lone Wolves or Spirit Jellyfish, and summon Sorcerer Rogier outside the boss gate for extra pressure.
Margit is designed to punish panic rolling with delayed attacks, so wait until his weapon actually starts swinging before dodging. Bleed weapons like the Uchigatana or Reduva work extremely well and can remove huge chunks of his health quickly.

How To Defeat Godrick The Grafted In Elden Ring
To defeat Godrick The Grafted in Elden Ring, you should be around level 35-40 with at least 20 Vigor and a weapon upgraded to +4 or higher. Use Nepheli Loux and Spirit Ashes to split his aggro while punishing his long recovery animations with jumping heavy attacks.
During Phase 1, roll into his axe swings instead of backward and jump over his earthquake shockwaves. In Phase 2, stay close during his fire breath attacks to avoid damage and punish him with free hits while he is locked into long animations.
