Roadmap

Early Game

Hell is Us rewards patience more than rushing. There is no traditional map, no objective marker, and very little hand-holding, so pay attention to dialogue, landmarks, cardinal directions, and the clues you pick up. Exploration is part of the puzzle here, so if the game seems lost, there is a decent chance it is quietly asking you to stop running in circles and actually read something.

For the Platinum, your biggest priority is the missable content. Several Good Deeds and required NPC conversations can become unavailable after specific story events. Complete these before their cutoff points rather than assuming you can return later. Most other trophies and collectibles can safely wait.

Start working on Good Deeds, Mysteries, Research Items, Glyphs, Relics, Drone Modules, and other collectibles whenever they naturally cross your path. You do not need to obsessively clear everything immediately, but handling content as you find it will make the eventual cleanup much easier.

Mid Game

As more of Hadea opens up, keep balancing story progression with exploration. Mysteries become a major part of the journey and often involve keys, passcodes, Lymbic Rods, locked doors, and clues found elsewhere in the world. None of the Mysteries are missable, so enjoy solving them naturally instead of turning every room into an emergency investigation.

Keep completing Good Deeds before advancing major story events, especially when you know one has a cutoff. This is also important for trophies such as Man of the People, Antiquarian, Lend an Ear, and Ever After. Missing the wrong conversation or side objective can affect more than one trophy, which is Hadea's charming way of rewarding your kindness with paperwork.

You should also continue upgrading your weapons and Defensive Gear as Victor gains access to higher upgrade levels. Avoid wasting large amounts of Lymbic Shards on unnecessary consumables. Once Timeloops are closed and enemies stop respawning, your available resources become finite, so save enough materials for the Grade 5 weapon and Grade 4 Defensive Gear trophies.

Late Game

Before committing to the final stages of the story, make sure your important missables are finished. Check that required Good Deeds have been completed, that you have spoken with the conversational NPCs who may disappear, and that the characters needed for Ever After have successfully moved to Lake Cynon.

Continue closing Timeloops as you work through the later areas. Once a Timeloop is closed, enemies connected to that area stop respawning. This is useful for Legend of the Phol because you can then clear the remaining Hollows and use the APC map to confirm that an area shows Threats: Clear.

Act 3 will eventually take you to the final story locations and complete the main campaign. Do not worry about having every non-missable collectible finished before this point. As long as the missable requirements are safely handled, you can finish the story without turning the last few hours into a frantic scavenger hunt.

Trophy Cleanup and Extra Tips

After completing Act 3, reload your save and continue exploring. You will return to the final story location with the rest of the world still accessible, allowing you to clean up Mysteries, Research Items, Drone Modules, Glyphs, Relics, Vaults of Forbidden Knowledge, baseball caps, Timeloops, enemies, and other unfinished trophies.

For collection trophies, use the game's menus whenever possible to identify what you are missing. Mysteries and Research Items can all be completed after the story, and most collectible-related trophies are designed to be cleaned up this way. Legend of the Phol may take a little more wandering because remaining enemies must be found manually, so keep checking the APC until every relevant location reads Threats: Clear.

On PS5, Man of the People and Antiquarian also have a trophy tracker quirk that can provide a backup if something was missed. Repeating the completion of a Good Deed or collecting a Relic after reloading an earlier manual save can increase the PS5 trophy tracker again. Treat this as an emergency parachute rather than the main plan. Completing everything properly in one playthrough is cleaner, much less fiddly, and saves you from fighting the Platinum more than the actual enemies.
